Braised Lamb Shoulder, Anyone?

New Year brings some new additions to our ever popular Sunday Lunch menu at The Station Hotel.
Who can resist Smoked Salmon and Prawn Cocktail, especially when you know that the salmon is local produce? And for vegetarians, we have a delicious Clava Brie Bruschetta or Leek and Tattie Soup, always a great favourite. Clava Brie is produced on a family farm in Ardersier by the shores of the Moray Firth and is described by the Connage Dairy as a "smooth, pasturised, creamy, quite strong earthy Brie" that is quite delicious.
Our Slow Roasted Scottish Beef Brisket has proved to be immensely popular, so we have now added Braised Lamb Shoulder with a Rosemary Gravy which has gone down a storm.
In the Desserts section, we've added Eton Mess which is vying with the Sticky Toffee Pudding as a customer favourite.
