The restaurant at The Station Hotel in Insch reopened in September 2025 and serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, morning and afternoon coffee/tea and sweet treats. Please see sample menus below.


Chef Alan Halkett, who runs the hotel with his wife, Eloise, has worked at some of Scotland’s top hotels.


He is passionate about good food prepared using fresh local ingredients. The restaurant offers an affordable fine dining experience and a varied menu for the whole family to enjoy.


Gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options are available along with a children's menu.


We also offer an array of wines, soft drinks, beers and cocktails. Enjoy a Mojito or Bramble Gin while you're waiting on your order, or pop in on your way to Insch Railway Station for a night out on the town. Our bar is open from 12 noon all week.
