The restaurant at The Station Hotel in Insch reopened in September 2025 and serves lunch, dinner, morning and afternoon coffee/tea and cakes.


Chef Alan Halkett, who took over the hotel on September 1st with wife, Eloise, has worked at some of Scotland’s top hotels.


He is passionate about good food prepared using fresh local ingredients. The restaurant offers an affordable fine dining experience and a varied menu for the whole family to enjoy.
