The restaurant at The Station Hotel in Insch reopened in September 2025 and serves lunch, dinner, morning and afternoon coffee/tea and cakes.


Chef Alan Halkett, who took over the hotel on September 1st with his wife, Eloise, has worked at some of Scotland’s top hotels.


He is passionate about good food prepared using fresh local ingredients. The restaurant offers an affordable fine dining experience and a varied menu for the whole family to enjoy.

We also offer an array of wines, soft drinks, beers and cocktails. Enjoy a Mojito or Bramble Gin while you're waiting on your order, or pop in on your way to Insch Station for a night out on the town.
