Delightfully tasty dishes for your delection
Now, here's something different for a Sunday lunch starter, dear diners. Chorizo, Basil and Mozzarella Arancini with Aioli - very Mediterranean, conjuring up images of sun-basked Italian or Spanish shores instead of the rather dreich weather forecast for Aberdeenshire this Sunday.
Arancini for the uninitiated are rice balls and a staple of Sicilian cuisine. They are generally filled with herbs and spices, stuffed with mozzarella, breaded and fried until melty and golden. Simply delicious!
Next are favourites on any Sunday lunch table - Slow-roasted Scottish Beef Brisket and Roast Breast of Chicken. Or, if you prefer a fishy dishy, Seared Fillet of Orange Marinated Salmon will certainly offer a treat for your tastebuds.
If you're a vegetarian, our Harisa Roasted Aubergine should prove tempting and is accompanied by feta, rocket and roasted peppers.
