As autumn progresses and the weather gets colder and windy, there's nothing better to warm yourself up with than a lovely bowl of Lentil and Ham Soup with delicious home-made focaccia bread.
For our vegetarian guests, we have a lovely dish of Whipped Feta with Roasted Red Peppers and Oatcakes. Sounds delicious, doesn't it?
For mains, we have our usual Slow Roast Scottish Beef Brisket with all the trimmings and making a welcome return is our Slow Braised Shoulder of Lamb. Both are firm favourites here at The Station Hotel and it's little wonder. Cooked to perfection, the meat just falls apart and melts in the mouth.
Don't forget to leave room for a lush dessert such as our Lemon Posset with Fresh Raspberries and Home-made Meringue. Or you may prefer our tasty Chocolate Cheesecake with its Cherry Compote, a somewhat indulgent end to a delicious Sunday lunch!
